ABOUT ME

Hello!  I am the blog author of Notions from Nonny. I started this blog to help encourage those that say, "I can't cook, I can't make that, or I am so uncreative." I was that person, and if I can do it, you can too!

I have recently had a opportunity to stay home after spending the last twelve years in a classroom.  Christian Education is my passion, but I am thoroughly enjoying helping my husband with his business and being "Nonny".

On the blog, I also hope to share my experiences of life.  I have been married to my best friend for over 25 years.   We know what commitment is and with the help of God we plan on being married 25 more years.

My most precious memories have been the many years we have worked in the ministry together.  Doing the work of the Lord has been the most rewarding experience for our family.

My husband and I were blessed with three boys.  Three boys that have their own distinct personalities.  There was never a dull moment around our house.  Now they are grown and I long for the days when they were little again. And just because they are grown doesn't mean they don't need you. I think they need you more.

I finally got a daughter, when my middle son married a few years ago.  She is a precious addition to our family.  Thankfully my son and his family live in the the same city.

Meet our little princess!  God sent this precious little girl to us and there is not a one of us that she doesn't have wrapped around her little finger.

She is growing up so quickly!   And now she is a big sister!

Our Little Guy was born in September 2014. He is the most precious baby!  We are very excited to have another addition to our family, and another boy to carry on the Kendrick name.

Then there is Rye.....he is our precious lab that loves to hunt and be in the water.   He also loves to travel with us and is such a good dog.

This is a little glimpse into who is behind "Notions from Nonny".  You're welcome anytime!

"Ignore the rushing waters.....ignore everything that tries to pull you under or knock your feet out, or obscures your view. Plant your feet on a solid rock."
