Only God Can Make a Kitten

Written By: Rhonda Gowler Greene
Illustrated by Laura J Bryant
Only God Can Make A Kitten, written by award-winning author Rhonda Gowler Greene and illustrated by bestselling artist Laura J. Bryant, follows a conversation between a mother and child as the child repeatedly asks "Mama, who made . . . ?" In the end, children learn that God is responsible for everything in creation―including kittens!

An adorable story about a conversation between a mother and a child.  As a mother, I was asked too many times to count, where things came from.  As a read this to my granddaughter, she responded the same way.  It was obvious she was soaking it all in and even asked a few questions herself.  It really was a cute story and the illustrations were beautiful.  My granddaughter really loved this book and I know you wouldn't be disappointed adding it to your library.

The Berenstein Bears | God Bless America

Zondervan Kidz
By: Mike Berenstain

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”  Matthew 5:14

In the newest Berenstain Bear Living Lights 8x8 title, the glorious fourth has arrived and the Bear family is busy decorating with flags and bunting. Brother, Sister and Honey are anticipating the big parade and all the fireworks but aren’t really thinking about the true meaning of the day.
But Mama and Papa make sure the cubs know just how much Bear Country is blessed with a quick lesson about the first Fourth of July.
Features 12 full-color stickers.

Who doesn't love The Berenstain Bears!   My granddaughter, who is four, loved this book.  I loved to read  the patriotic themed story to her.  She heard about a parade and how the bears celebrated 4th of July.  Also included in the book was stickers.  She loves stickers!! She was able to easily pull the stickers off and place them on her tablet.   The illustrations are bright and story very easy to follow.  If you want to teach your children about 4th of July, this is a cute book to do that.

Bible Journaling | Galatians 1:10

I WANT TO BE ACCEPTED BY GOD!

Today I am sharing another day of the Bloom devotional.  The devotion was about being accepted by God and not man.  I found a verse in Galatians that went with this thought.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.  Gal. 1:10 (KJV)

Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah). Gal 1:10 (AMP)

I am still trying to become comfortable with acrylic paints.  I enjoy using Gelato's a lot better.  For me, they are much easier to use.  In my acrylic paint I used a glossy medium to make the paint more translucent.  I do not want to words to be covered at all.  It really helped.  I really love the colors, but for me, the paint needs to be less and more of an accent.   It is all a learning process.

Supplies Used:
• Liquitex Acrylic Paint
