Be Free, Be Saved

God has been moving in our church.  When a man of God in your life is specific, and reminds you that you will not be saved, you reflect in all areas of your life that you may need to work on. I could easily justify my bitterness and pain with the things I have dealt with the last few years.  And I could make excuses, and live daily with them, but I choose to let go and be free.  There will be no excuses when we meet God.  He has provided us provisions to get through these times and why do we ignore them? If we are bitter and unforgiving, we WILL NOT be saved. How do we know we've truly forgiven and bitterness is gone....when we respond as Christ would.  He forgives our sins and FORGETS.....he doesn't keep reminding us of the past.  He doesn't daily grind at us about our mistakes.  He doesn't stop going to church.  When we can look at the situation, and truly feel no animosity towards the situation,  then we have forgiven.

I want God to call my name....I don't want to go through all this and not make it to heaven.  I woke with this burning in my heart and maybe this is a revelation I've received, but I am telling you with love, that we will not take our excuses and self justifications of why we are the way we are to heaven. There will be no excuses on judgement day. It doesn't matter how good your works have been, or how much you've done in the kingdom of God the last umpteen years. He will not know your name.  Be free.....and be saved.

With all my love!

The Beginner's Bible | Come Celebrate Easter

Zondervan Kidz
Design: Judy Langley

The Easter story comes to life through age-appropriate puzzles, activity pages, and stickers in this friendly and fun The Beginner’s Bible Easter Sticker and Activity Book featuring classic art and simply written content from The Beginner’s Bible.

This was a very neat book and perfect because it is almost Easter.  My granddaughter, who is four, loved this book.  She was able to easily pull the stickers off and place them on the appropriate pages.  With the stickers and other activities, it will be for older children also.  We did that part together.  The illustrations are bright and story very easy to follow.  You want something new and fun.....your child will love this book!

God Bless My Boo Boo

God Bless My Boo Boo is the perfect remedy for healing little hurts with a healthy dose of love! Even the smallest scratches, bumps, and scrapes can often be fairly traumatic for little ones. When simple injuries happen, God Bless My Boo Boo is like a warm hug that helps to erase the pain. With comforting words, readers go through adorable scenes of baby animals and their boo boos and remind children that God is always there to help! Just like Mommy Zebra makes a scraped knee better, or Mommy Walrus helps tend a toothache, moms will be able to use this book to make their little ones' boo boos all better!

This is the most adorable book.  My granddaughter actually loved it! I know your child will love it too.  It is a hard page book, more for a younger age, but the illustrations were so pretty and eye catching, that my four year old granddaughter was happy to read it.  She could easily relate to the story of getting hurt and very interested in all of the animals.  Such a cute book!  You will not regret buying this book for your child!!

ABC Bible Journaling Community Challenge 3 | James 1:17

I love this scripture.....we work so hard to "arrive" or succeed and some of us give ourselves the credit.  But I know who every blessing has come from.  It is not "I" who has gotten me this far, but God.  I am so thankful for every blessing, every success, every dime......I could go on and on!  I owe it all to him!!

This week I was loving the spring weather and gravitated to the colors of spring.  I love corals and mints and this was perfect for this week.

Journaling Bible | My Tote

I craft in a small space, so I have to be organized.  And I have found if I keep things close, I will use the items I have.  Last year I found this tote at Tuesday Morning.  I love my turning tote and I use it daily during my journaling and planning.  I recently shared my tote with the ABC Bible Journaling group and today I would like to share it with all of you!

What kind of items do you love that keep you organized and efficient?

ABC Bible Journaling Challenge Week 2 | John 14:27

Do you have peace?  We seek it for the world. People want peace for the middle east and other countries at war. We seek it at home as we try just about anything – herbal supplements, sleeping aids, and meditation – to relax and find peace. We seek it in our relationships. We enter counseling to find peace within ourselves and with one another. We read books, and listen to sermons, and ask for advice of close friends and newspaper columnists to help solve relational problems. But, peace now seems more elusive than ever before. Is peace a possibility?  Yes it is!  When the Holy Ghost is in our life, we will produce the fruit of peace.  The world cannot give us true peace.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27

If you need peace in your life, I hope you reflect on this weeks verse.  The world cannot give you peace, but God can....and will!

This weeks journaling page......

This week supplies were mostly items from the $1 section at Joanne's Crafts.  I am trying to use up my stash of craft items and also show that you can journal on a budget.  I look forward to seeing your pages!! Have a blessed week!

ABC Bible Journaling Community| Week 1 Challenge

I am so excited that bible journaling is spreading through the Apostolic Community.  There are many groups that do this, but now we have a group of our own peers: Apostolic Bible Community Bible Journaling.  Or for short, ABC Bible Journaling #abcbiblejournaling

To make it fun, each week we are going to have a challenge where you journal the chosen verse.  Then we hope you will share your pages and we can talk about what methods and products you used.  This community will also be a place of encouragement.  We all need this don't we?

 isaiah 41-10a

I chose Isaiah 41:10 for the first week because it is an awesome verse and there is a lot fearful things going on in this world. But also because there is a kind of fear that goes with bible journaling.  Every time I journal a page, I am hesitant because I do not want to ruin the page.  Well, this week I ripped my first page. {gasp} "FEAR" gripped my heart!  One thing I vowed when doing bible journaling, I was still going to respect the word of God.  I was not going to destroy the bible or cover his word.  It was going to still be a legible bible. Keep in mind, when you use water based color or liquid, you do take the chance of ripping your page. Especially when you are working with Pearl Ex or water colors.  When you use these mediums, you have to make sure that your page is absolutely dry.  I got in a hurry and rushed it!  But I was determined to make my ripped page beautiful again and I finished the page. With a little clear packing tape, you can't even tell it was ripped. FEAR NOT: Don't fear the process.....just create beautiful pages!!

Here is my page for Isaiah 41:10....

I look forward to seeing your pages! God Bless!
