I anticipate this season all year! I LOVE Christmas time and all of the family gatherings that go along with it. If you have followed my blog anytime, you know that I love to decorate for Christmas. After not decorating last year, I was ready to get started. (see why here)
This year I didn't change my color theme, but I did move a few things around and added some new items. Enjoy Christmas Decorations 2014 tour.....
This is my seasonal table. All year long, this is decorated for every holiday or season. The JOY set I made a few years back. (see here) The ornament on a stand was from the Christmas Dollar Tree post. (see here) The owl and countdown sign was from a gift exchange a few years back. (see here) And the Let it Snow was a gift from mother in law. Love it!
Here is a nice view of my banister. It is the hardest banister I have ever had to decorate. So not to ruin the wood, I have ribbon carefully tacked to hold it up. Thankfully it stays the whole season.
This is another Christmas vignette that I have. This is the most popular table in the house. It has the candy jar. I promise! I have to fill this jar up every other day!
This is my most decorated area in my home. It is the first place you see when you walk into my home.
I still love my faux fireplace! (see here) I have so much fun decorating this. I am very thankful that a friend took my idea and built it. You just have a mantle for Christmas, right? ;-)
A lot of the items here were from Kirkland's and Joanne's. I did make the Christmas deco mesh wreath. ( see here)
My dining area..... The banner is from Kirkland's and candle centerpiece is from Homegoods.
The city has been a long tradition in our home. The last few years I hadn't set it up because I didn't feel like I had room for it. My youngest really missed it and found a solution this year. He set it all up for me.
This is my hutch....just a few item to make it festive.
And this is a conversation piece......I bought this at Kirkland's. Thought it was too funny! I know you can't see it....but it ends with, Peace on Earth!
I hope you enjoyed the Christmas Decoration Tour of 2014. I know some are thinking, that is too much work, or some may be saying that it isn't fancy enough. You make your home uniquely you. What you do in your home is your tradition and even if it is a few decorations, that is Christmas to me. Merry Christmas and see you again soon!
