Back to Smoothies!

Since the holidays, this girl has been lazy with my healthier eating! No more!! I have gotten my new blender out and I am back to my smoothies!

I prefer frozen fruits in my smoothies.  I like my smoothies really cold!

This is a mixture of fresh and frozen......
1 Fuji Apple
1 Pear
1 Cup of Spinach
1 Cup Sunrise Growers Fruit Oxidant Blend
(Blueberries, Pomegranates, cherries, strawberries) 
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk

  1. I have been slacking so badly! It needs to stop! I stocked up on frozen fruit and kale, so I need to start using it!

  2. My favorite post run smoothie:

    1 1/2 cups light soy or almond milk
    1-2 cups spinach
    frozen banana (I don't know how much!)
    2 tbsp powered peanut butter
    1-2 scoops recovery protein powder.

  3. I have a few favorites linked on my blog's facebook page in the notes section but 2 of my absolute favorites are Blueberry Muffin Protein shake and Cake Batter Protein Shake. Also Snickerdoodle too!

  4. Do you like the ninja blender? I am looking to purchase a blender, and I REALLY REALLY want a vitamix, but that's just way out of my budge. I prefer a smoothie like jamba juice. Smoothe but not watery or icy.

    1. This is my second Ninja blender and I am very pleased with it. It too would love to have a Vitamix, but this was more in my budget. It has blended everything very well, but pomegranate seeds. Lol. I am very happy with this blender.
