Our first top was Catalina Island. My husband and I had never been, so it was exciting to go someplace new. Catalina is off the Southern California coast. On the Catalina Express you can get there in less than an hour. It is a quaint little island with many things to do. We toured the island on a golf cart, but you can play golf, snorkel, shop, and much more. It was a nice and relaxing day!
They shuttled us to the island, and seeing the shuttle boats next to our ship put in perspective how big the boat really is.
These cute little guys were playing "King of the Buoy!"
Beautiful, relaxing day!
Next morning we docked in Ensenada!
First place we went to was the La Bufudora, which is a marine geyser or blow hole.
It was really cool! You cannot predict when it is going to blow, but I did get a few pictures.
Then we shopped at the market place and ate at a very yummy taco shop. They make their tortillas fresh and it was well worth the loooong line we waited in. We even missed our bus! (That's another story for another time,lol) We returned to the downtown area and did some shopping. We left realizing that we can get much better deals in the downtown LA area. It was a little disappointing! Not wanting to be in the city after dark, we headed back to the ship for dinner.
Another wonderful day!
Going home we spent a day at see. We did many fun things, like playing miniature golf on top of the ship. It was quite windy, so it made playing very interesting.
We were so glad that my husband's aunt and uncle were able to travel with us. We always have a great time with them!! Another great trip in the books....I look forward to our next adventure! {Thanks Babe! You always make our anniversary so special!}
