Valentine's Day Red Velvet Cake

One of my families favorite cakes is the BTS Cake, which I posted here.  This red velvet cake is a similar poke cake.

 What you will need:
-Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix
-Cheesecake Instant Pudding
-Oreos
-Cool Whip
-13 x 9 Pan

First, you will make the cake as directed on the box.....

I just love the deep red of red velvet cake mix.......

As the cake is baking, you will make up your pudding.
Before it cools, you will poke holes into the cake.

Then you will spread the pudding over the cake.  Smoothing the pudding into the holes.

Let the cake chill for 2 hours.  While to cake is chilling, you will make Oreo cookie crumbles for the top of the cake.  Then, after 2 hours, you will spread Cool Whip onto the top of cake.

I used red sugar sprinkles on the top, but you can also use cake decorating hearts.

Such a moist and yummy cake!!

This is such an easy cake for you to make for your Valentine, or really, any occasion!
<3 Enjoy! <3

I am visiting my parents and had a hard time finding the cheesecake pudding here. Albertson's had sugar free. The original is much better!!
