When you give a gift that was made by you, it is from the heart, and more special. That is why most of my family, or even friends, have received a blanket from me. It is a very easy project that you can complete in just a few hours. With the days cold, this easy no sew fleece blanket, would be a perfect project for a gift or just for yourself.
Supplies Needed:
-Pick out two different fleece prints
You will need (2) yards of each print (for adult)
* Toddler Size 1 yard
*Small Child 1 1/2 yards
-scissors
-tape measure
-A large work area
First you will lay the two pieces of material together. Make sure they match; trim any excess material . (You may pin the material together if that will help you keep it straight.)
Then you will make a 5 in. square in each corner. (I do two corners at a time)
Do the corner next that will be at the end of the row you are tying.
Next you will cut 5 in long, 1 in wide, strips to tie.
I cut about 5 at a time, then I start tying.
Work your way around the blanket and before you know it, you'll be done!
I also did this blanket too....
Email me if you have any questions! Have fun!

I have one of these blankets and I love it! So warm and cuddly ;)
ReplyDeleteI love making no sew fleece blankets. They are pretty easy and great for gifts!
ReplyDeleteWow!! That doesn't look too difficult! Do you cut all four corners? I originally stopped by to thank you for the Liebster award. I was just given one last week so I may sit this one out but I appreciate the nomination!!!
ReplyDeleteTasha----I totally understand and your welcome.
ReplyDeleteYes, you will cut 5 inch squares on all four corners.
Take care,
Nonny
I love making these. They are def the go to blanket when you're faced with a big family having babies all at the same time! :)
ReplyDeleteThese blankets are beautiful!!! My daughter just did this to make 8 scarves with solid color fleece. But now after seeing your blankets, I'm going to ask her to make these as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you lady M! I have never done scarves. I would love to see how they turned out.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!!

definitely a GREAT gift! My daughter made these for her siblings last yr for christmas....even with all the $ electronic gifts the blankets were the favorite gifts.
ReplyDeleteMy niece made one of these when my son was born (for him). He STILL loves it and he's 5!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love blankets, can't get enough. I've been meaning to try some DIY projects around here, this sounds easy enough!
