Easy JOY Monogram Christmas Wreath

{Update: My gift for the Craftaholics Gift Exchange}
The gift I received here!

It is that time of the year.....I absolutely love Christmas! I love to decorate and the family time....but more than anything I love to buy gifts for others.  To see the kid's faces light up when they open their gift....That is pure gratification!

Christmas will be here before you know  it!! Here is a EASY craft for your home, or it would be a great gift.  A JOY Wreath.......that can be customized to your theme.

What you need:

 Monogram Letters and Wreath
You also need to pick out scrapbook paper for your letter.

Accessories to decorate you wreath....
I am doing more red and lime green this year.

Mod Podge for your monogram letters....

1. First you going to trace your letter onto the scrapbook paper.......
(These monogram letters are perfect....you can hang them. I found them at Hobby Lobby.)

2. Now get your monogram letter ready.  Liberally coat it with Mod Podge.  It helps the scrapbook letter to adhere better.  Make sure the edges are down.  You don't want the paper to curl up.

3. Now place your scrapbook letter onto the monogram wood letter.  Liberally coat the letter with Mod Podge.  It will dry clear.

4. Take your finger....or a tool and go side to side and get any bubbles out.  It will bubble when drying if you don't do this.  Once done, let your letters dry over night.

5. I added a little bling to my monogram letters.....I painted the edges with lime green glitter paint.

6. Now decorate your wreath......

I loved how it turned out!! So many ways you can display this craft.  I will be hanging mine on the wall.  Or you can use stands and set them on an accent table.  When I display mine, I will update with pictures.

UPDATE: Another variation of JOY Wreath....I made this as my gift for the Craftaholics Gift Exchange!

If you make this....I would love to see what you come up with! Email me a picture!  Happy Crafting!
